Sockaroos 跨越疆界

The Augmented Reality Sockaroos characters will be exhibited at 跨越疆界—府中15動漫之間特展.

Who ever missed our previous show at Taipei (see here) can meet the AR characters here.

There will be a Free special addition Sockaroos AR card to be given away at the exhibition, be there earlier to get one so that you can keep Fio and TT at home.

擴增實境的 Sockaroos 生物們將在「跨越疆界—府中15 動漫之間特展」與大家見面。錯過了我們在台北迪化街展覽的朋友們，將可以在這次特展中看到。

Sockaroos 的 AR 卡片將以限定贈品的形式在特展中免費派發，及早到場領取吧，掃描 AR 卡片將可看到擴增實境的 Fio 和 TT.

展出日期：20-12-2012 ~ 03-03-2013

Instruction 操作步驟

Step 1

Launch the Junaio app. Click the Search button on the top left conner or Scan button on the top right conner.

啟動 Junaio。按左上角的搜尋鍵，或右上角的掃描鍵。

Step 2 (Scan button 掃描鍵)

Place the postcard in the view finder and start scanning.

把明信片置中掃描。

Step 2 (Seach button 搜尋鍵)

Search for Roomism, select the Sockaroos 跨越疆界—府中15動漫之間特展 (card) or Roomism Sockaroos AR character 01 (exhibition)

搜尋 Roomism，選擇 Sockaroos 跨越疆界—府中15動漫之間特展（贈品卡片）或 Roomism Sockaroos AR character 01 （展覽）。

Step 3

Pointing at the postcard under sufficient light and avoid reflection, allow some time for the app to load the content for you.

將明信片放置在亮處，掃描時盡量避免反光，軟件將會需要一點時間幫你把擴增實境的內容下載到你的手機上。

Step 4

You can share the photo on your facebook, tweeter or just save it in your own device. We will appreciate if you can share in our facebook page too.

您可以在 facebook 或 twitter 和朋友分享所拍攝的照片，也可以儲存在相簿。當然上傳到我們的 facebook 頁面會更好∼

Step 5

Visit our website for more of our creations. Please add our channel to your favorite for easier access in the future and also don’t forget to rate us.

2012 Sockaroos Taipei Exhibition

Invited by Taiwan Campobag, Roomism are going to have an exhibition at Taipei. This exhibition is mainly showing Sockaroos arts most importantly we are introducing 12 AR Sockaroos characters, you will get to see them with your mobile device, remember to install a free app call Junaio in your device before you visit, you can check out the link below for the system you are using.

Roomism in Panda Craze

What if our Sockaroos characters is in panda theme, that will be fun! So here you go~ We found out that the panda theme is just so cute to apply to all characters. No wonder everybody love panda~

Sockaroos AR Postcard was featured in Junaio blog.

Last weekend we launched the Sockaroos AR Postcard at STGCC 2012. The feed back is extremely good, many visitors was excited to try on the AR demo, and now we want to tell you that the Sockaroos AR Postcard was featured in Junaio’s blog.

We have a lot of fun working on the AR content by leveraging the world’s most advanced Augmented Reality Browser.

Those who bought our postcard we hope you having fun with the AR content, for those who missed the opportunity to try it can go to Junaio blog and have a try on 2 postcard out of the set of 10.

AR Postcard Series 01 instruction

We are please to tell you that we have added an exited AR experience into our Sockaroos Concept Art Postcard.

All together 10 different postcard in a set and each postcard will have its very own AR content.

First of all you will need to launch Junaio, if you don’t have the app in your mobile device, you can download it for free, it is available for iOS and Android devices, scan this QR code it’ll lead you to the App Store or Google Play.

*RedLaser 3.3.0 doesn’t work this way.

If you got Junaio go to the steps below:

Step 1

Launch the Junaio app. Click the Search button on your top left conner.

Step 2

Search for Roomism channel, select the Sockaroos AR Postcard Series 01.

Step 3

Pointing at one of the postcard under sufficient light and avoid reflection on it, the app will load the content to your mobile device.

Optional steps

Click on Share button on the bottom go to Step 4.

Click on Roomism channel icon on top go to Step 5.

Step 4

You can share the photo on your facebook, tweeter or just save it in your own device. We will appreciate if you can share in our facebook page too.

Step 5

AR Fio – Calendar 2012

Last year we had given away 2000+ calendar, hope all of you still keeping it nicely as we added something interesting to it.

Install the free app Junaio now and you will able to see an AR Fio coming out from the Roomism calendar 2012 (black version).

Junaio is available for iPhone and Android phones.

Step 1

First of all, prepare your Roomism Calendar 2012. It is the marker of the AR Fio.

Right click the icon and select “save link as” to save the image to your computer. Print it with your printer and enjoy.

Step 2

Launch the Junaio app. Click on “Scan” button.

Step 3

Option 1

Put it on top of the marker (the entire calendar), click on “Search for channel” button. Ignore “Open”.

Option 2

Search for “roomism” using the search bar on top of the screen.

Step 4

Be patient. Now it’s searching for the channel.

Step 5

Click on “Go”.

Step 6

Loading the 3D to your device.

Step 7

Here you go, meet the AR Fio. Enjoy!

We invested a 3D printer

We invested a 3D printer at December 2011, tested for months (as we don’t have much time playing with it)and did a lot of experimental prints, now we can say it works well at the moment. But we keep improving the printing quality along the road. Let’s have a look on some of the printings.

When the time we finished testing and tweaking the 3D printer the Chinese New Year is near, so we just use the printer to print a stencil for the festival cookies. 蝙蝠 the Chinese of bat got the similar pronunciation of 福 which mean happiness, in Chinese customs people used to put bat relief to decorate their house.

Tinkle Bear Mini Show Expansion

For those who missed the Mini Show at last December, here’s the good news.

We are going to have an expansion of the Tinkle Bear Mini Show at this month at Parco Marina Bay.

If you already went to the show at Red Dot Design Museum do come again, as you will see the village of the Tinkle Bear.

After Red Dot Museum exhibition, Tinkle Bears and the tree house were moved to Circa (Singapore Millenia Walk Parco).

Those who missed the show at Redo Dot Design Museum can pay a visit to the cute Tinkle Bears there, others of our products also can be found there, if you are looking for a special Christmas gift.
